With a theme that originates from the cultural heritage of alpine furnishing typologies, the works for the showcase in the historical Chesa Planta explore craft, not solely through the value of craftsmanship, but rather its endowment: the passing on of a skill or an interpretation from one generation to another. The endurance of any of those processes over time creates a sense of belonging, a shared understanding and manifests tradition. From material explorations, intuitive constructions to tributes to craftsmanship techniques and typologies, each design approach is engaged in a contemporary dialogue about heritage, craftsmanship and the interplay between continuity and renewal.
